TC4 is mainly composed of titanium (Ti), aluminum (Al), vanadium (V) and other alloying elements. The aluminum (Al) content is between 5.5-6.8%, and the vanadium (V) content is between 3.5-4.5%. Aluminum can improve the strength and heat resistance of titanium alloys, while vanadium can improve the processing performance and toughness of the alloy. Due to its high strength and high toughness, TC4 titanium alloy is relatively difficult to process and requires high-precision processing with carbide tools.
