Tungsten Copper Alloy Sheets describe

Our company specializes in producing High Purity Tungsten Copper Alloy Sheets in various thicknesses and dimensions. Standard compositions of Tungsten Copper alloys include W70/Cu30, W60/Cu40, W80/Cu20 and W90/Cu10. we can produce materials to custom specifications by request, in addition to custom compositions for commercial and research applications and new proprietary technologies. we also casts any of the rare earth metals and most other advanced materials into rod, bar or plate form, as well as numerous other machined shapes, nanomaterials, and in the form of solutions and organometallic compounds. American Elements produces to many standard grades when applicable, including Mil Spec (military grade); ACS, Reagent and Technical Grade; Food, Agricultural and Pharmaceutical Grade; Optical Grade, USP and EP/BP (European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia) and follows applicable ASTM testing standards. Typical and custom packaging is available. Additional technical, research and safety (MSDS) information is available as is a Reference Calculator for converting relevant units of measurement.

Consisting of pure tungsten (W) powder suspended in a matrix of copper (Cu), these alloys are known for good thermal and electrical conductivity, low thermal expansion, and resistance to erosion from arcing. Thus, they are often used as electrical contacts, particularly in high voltage applications. Most sizes and shapes can be supplied with short lead times. We can also manufacture parts from these materials to your specifications.

Tungsten Copper Alloy Sheets Advantages:

  · High arc resistance combined with good electrical conductivity

  · High thermal conductivity

  · Low thermal expansion

Tungsten Copper Alloy Sheets Applications:

  · Arc contacts and vacuum contacts in high/medium voltage breakers or vacuum interruptors

  · Electrodes in electric spark erosion (EDM) cutting machines

  · Heat sinks for passive cooling of electronic device

      · Electrodes for resistance welding
